To many people they found it interesting that I did not and do not consider myself worthy of Heaven or even to be in the presence of God upon my death. I've been asked if I know God loves me? If I know where I am going when I die? If I know my own worth? That is almost followed by a statement that they know where they are going. That they have been forgiven. I hear the one Christian, not perfect a lot. Once saved always saved. At a friend's funeral one time another friend asked me if he had been saved and baptisted. I told her I thought he had been. Then, surprisingly she said, good, I'm glad he has, where did he go to church at? Many things went through my head but my mouth only spoke a sentence. I don't know. I thought of many questions for her, yet didn't ask. Perhaps I should have, though it would be unpopular, especially today. So today, I will not be popular.

We seemingly have the same power structure today that was in Jesus' day, only the names have changed, in some cases. We have preachers that preach grace and those which preach law. Which is right and which is wrong? Both are right, and neither is right as well. It would seem that men of God are picked by their own choice and endorsed by man, save some. Some like Franklin Graham, to name one, seem to inherit the title of preacher and righteous. Endorsed by men. They are not a real preacher, haven't been to school yet, I hear some say. It is a school ran and created by men. This brings to mind, at least my mind, a question. What happens to those God endorses? It is not wrong to assemble to worship and learn of God or Jesus, provided His teachings are what we teach. Least we not forget the government, who must also approve this man who teaches about God. It lends one to ponder if Christianity has not walked the road of Judaism. If that sounds good read on.

The main two groups back then were Pharisees and Sadducees. There were other groups but none held the majority and power as these two held. They dominated the Great Sanhedrin, the world's most highest power in religion and highest court in the land. The Pharisees were usually business people, who maintained that the Written Law was to be interpreted literally and the Oral Law (Talmud) as well. The Sadducee were the elite, rich and powerful, who believed that rejected the Oral Law (Talmud) but the Written Law must be enforced. It was 71 members of these two groups that made up the Great Sanhedrin. So which one was Jesus in? Neither, both put Him to death. We see two main divisions even today, Catholics and Protestants, Democrats and Republicans, divisions between those as well. One side reflects the rich while the other the poor, one the laws while the other different of laws, and some none. The Sanhedrin is more like the leading churches of today, or the government that the USA and other countries have. England is also an excellent observation of this system with The House Of Lords and The House Of Commons. Judaism, Islamic, and other beliefs are split as well.

In Jesus' time though, He neither agreed nor belonged to either group, nor did He endorse them. Matthew 16:12 Then understood they how that he bade them not beware of the leaven of bread, but of the doctrine of the Pharisees and of the Sadducees.
Matthew 3:7
But when he saw many of the Pharisees and Sadducees come to his baptism, he said unto them, O generation of vipers, who hath warned you to flee from the wrath to come?

But it gets a bit deeper than just the politics of the day, just as it does today. We seem to have a generation of Pharisees and Sadducee that squeak the loudest and thus get noticed the most. Not all, but most churches and it's members seem to have that mentality religious people had back then. God is more a money making name and He has also become more a good luck charm and something to name drop in order to gain favor in the eyes of others, mostly to gain control or advance of themselves. Just as they said back in Jesus' day and even unto today they were favored because they were from the lines of Abraham, so the Christians say they have favor because of belief and grace. They proclaim they have faith with their mouths in public, yet not their actions or profess their faith to themselves, in the quiet moments alone.

Matthew 12:33
Either make the tree good, and his fruit good; or else make the tree corrupt, and his fruit corrupt: for the tree is known by his fruit.

Romans 8:12-14
12 Therefore, brethren, we are debtors, not to the flesh, to live after the flesh.
13 For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die: but if ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live.
14 For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.
In the case above, 14 has the word Mortify, which means to Subdue (the body or its needs and desires) by self-denial or discipline: "return to heaven by mortifying the flesh". It is this in which I say it takes more than just speaking religion.

There was yet another group who also were Christians (claimed) who were called Nicolaitanes.
Revelation 2:5-7
5 Remember therefore from whence thou art fallen, and repent, and do the first works; or else I will come unto thee quickly, and will remove thy candlestick out of his place, except thou repent.
6 But this thou hast, that thou hatest the deeds of the Nicolaitanes, which I also hate.
7 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the tree of life, which is in the midst of the paradise of God.

It is not up to me to judge where another goes or how their heart is with God. I tell you this, not for my sake, but for your own, just as mine is my own. This is but a simple share of what I have found. I see that preacher a lot these days by almost every division of church. I did not say that day that if my friend went to church, he didn't mention it, because going through the motions will not save a person's soul. If that be the case then I too will be lost for I would rather not go through the motions. That is called religion. I would rather read and study by myself then become lost with a crowd, yet company would be great too. Most seem to either mix the Old & New Testaments or preach from one to the other. Paul says something about that:
2 Corinthians 3:14
But their minds were blinded: for until this day remaineth the same vail untaken away in the reading of the old testament; which vail is done away in Christ.

We know that Judaism does this, but what about Christianity? There are some divisions that still do. But humor me for a moment if you will at the following statements. See if that sounds familiar.

1- their favorite reply was "We are not under law, but under grace."

2- the gospel frees Christians from required obedience to any law, whether scriptural, civil or moral, and that salvation is attained solely through faith and the gift of divine grace

3= They didn't care about how they were living morally daily and their conduct were little thought of. They believed that the faith they professed was everything.

4= "Ritualism without spirituality, knowledge without practice. Justification by faith without holiness."

5- willing to acknowledge Jesus as their Savior but not as their Lord and Master

6- "We are not under law, but under grace," "Christians are free from the law," "We enjoy Christian liberty."

7 - The precepts of the Ten Commandments were not binding with respect to the Christians, and our Savior had come to destroy the law, and not to fulfill it!"

8- "dominancy over the defeated. A good translation of Nicolaitan would be "those who prevail over the people."

Now all this might sound good, ok, sorta, except for this:

It's late and I shouldn't even start to write, but I will. I need to make a few points clear. I do not and absolutely refuse to claim and affiliation with a Political Party. I'm fine being an American and having my priorities in line with God, Family, Friends, Country... in that order. Now maybe that works for some and maybe it don't, for now though it is a free country, whats left of it anyway. Most of these people once they get to power, I see no difference, same different dog, same leash and master.

I have barely researched this Megasite thing and already it stinks to high Heaven. I hear all this news how Democrats are for Socialism with Welfare for people, yet practically no mention of Republicans and their Socialism with Corporate Welfare. I'd like to focus on that and a few other issues that people seem to overlook on their way to party line worship. As I said, I vote for no party, I vote the person. I know people that would vote for Hitler if their party ran him for office. Oh wait, that is exactly what happened, idiots elected him based on the party he was in.

What we seldom if ever hear is Corporate Welfare, and that is exactly what is being done with not only this megasite but all of them. Who benefits from Corporate Welfare? Corporations and those making the loans to fund them. Those who know up front who is developing, who gets contracts to create the site and can invest, as well as the corporations that leach off idiots. The multinational corporation(s) that move there do quite well. Usually the upper pay scale jobs are brought in or farmed out while the lower scale jobs (temp jobs at best) go to locals. Just like when Clinton & Gore announce Free Trade with Mexico, or Bush signed into Creation the NAFTA agreement, we boomed until things moved away, then flopped. Now just in case you missed that, Democrats started it and Republicans sealed the deal. Two dogs on one leash, with one master. Basically things will go up here for a while, until they are completed, then decline. Most places have grace periods of quite a few years where the corporation don't pay taxes or pays at a reduced rate. Once that grace period is over they either down size or move off. We have Ghost Towns and empty buildings and lots in Industrial Parks that set as examples of this. It takes an idiot not to see that once the blood slows down they can leach off of there will always be another host. So they will move. Even their prize corporation Hemlock Semiconductor (DOW Chemicals) may be selling out to China, which is weird because China ties into some of the ones in office here and in Nashville.

Meanwhile the payments the county and or state borrowed must still be paid. By then there will usually be people move in, searching or relocating for a job. People will be injured while there. People will eventually be laid off there. All these people need to be paid too. Somewhere else in the world offers the same deal, maybe even another state, except with cheaper labor and they leave quicker and richer than they came. Meanwhile the debt must be paid, the land is ruined, and people must be compensated. State and local government jobs will need to be trimmed, salaries frozen, and citizens taxed higher. Already TN heads towards a debt of 45 Billion, 6973.00 per citizen. (Source) Now we add the Megasites to that and that is not even counting what Jefferson County will spend and go into debt. This is citizen's money! If a person has elected "leaders" instead of representatives, party rather than integrity, we are about to get what we deserve. “In a Democracy, the People Get the Government They Deserve” - Alexis de Tocqueville. We have become a Democracy but we were intended to be a Republic under the Law. Democracy- 2 Wolves and 1 Sheep deciding on what's for dinner.

Not that I am advocating Welfare, but between corporations and people, I'll take people any day. In Corporate Welfare the money goes to the Upper Crest and Investors of the organization who usually isn't even in TN let alone the USA. That money is long gone. In People Welfare the money goes to citizens who then in turn spend it right back into the economy. I scanned articles that stated a few business owners saying they needed the Megasite for more people and more business. Makes me wonder how long they've been in business and how long they will make it. Idiots usually don't last that long. It makes me wonder if we have lost the ability to tell fact from fiction, truth from lies, or bull crap from chocolate pies. Have we been kept so amused for so long that we can no longer actually think? We stand in the popular line and tell people we're smart yet apparently watch way too much TV or get lost on small crap diversion while watching crooks fleece our country. The line in the sand we draw has ever increasingly went back more and more until we're at the end of the sand. I overheard a guy say that he was shocked and mad, shortly after saying that is why he votes Republican. Idiot. I wanted to ask him just who he thought was in charge and what party line has been pushing these Corporate Welfare junk, building government bigger and bigger, while constantly in a state of war. I wanted to say he should have voted for whoever represented him best. But, mules are lead while thinking people wish representation. A quick peek at OpenSecrets.org shows who finances who, and big corporations always finance both sides.

One other aspect of this is that we, as a state and as a county will be heavily in debt. I will simply add these quotes,

I'm guessing someone is pooting under the covers. Follow the money on this thing. Follow the power ring. Follow the connections. Ask questions, demand answers, ones that have documented proof. After all, it is the citizen's dime these people are cashing in on. This is your children and grand children's future they are mortgaging. (Interesting note on that too, check in Nashville at the governor's right hand man's business). If that money is in excess, perhaps it would be better spent on local businesses, employees, schools, road repair. On people and things that are loyal to our county, our state, and our country. Perhaps all of that and maybe to help elderly with power bills or food or medical needs. No matter what, research, fact check, double check. Connect dots and hold those who are dirty accountable. Stand up and by your neighbor's who's land is at risk. Say enough
